Mansfield Motel has recently undergone some huge changes. The motel was built in the early 1960's and has remained much the same in the preceeding years. In 2006, the first stage of reconstruction took place and replaced the old style motel rooms with modern comfortable 4-star units. This was to be the beginning of a full refurbishment of the Mansfield Motel.

Stage Two
The second stage of the refurbishment was to improve the grounds and aspect of the motel. To date this has been mostly completed. New sign-work and gardening has been started and will be complete in early 2009. This stage will bring the motel  a more attractive street appeal and extra signage will inform potential guests of services and other information.

Stage Three
To commence in 2009, the final stage of motel room reconstruction will complete the major project and bring all rooms to a high level of quality and comfort. Some of the older rooms will increased in size and will accommodate families. A two bedroom unit is planned and a larger open plan unit will facilitate wheel-chair access.

Stage Four
Some minor works not affecting rooms. Reconstruction of sheds and other grounds improvements including fences.
